Hi, Elizabeth. I’m a travel writer and not affiliated with the parade. It’s in Geneva, not Oviedo. They’ve had vendors in the past, so you may want to check with the town of Geneva. They don’t seem to have a website, so you may want to stop down there or look in the Blue Pages for Seminole County for a contact number.

Ah, but the point is it is a place for smokers! I don’t smoke, so I sat indoors and looked out longingly at the ambiance. But the food was worth it.

The food is good, the entertainment is great with the belly dancers. The big negative is, you are enclosed with smokers and inconsiderate cigar smokers that stink up the place so badly you are almost in a fog from the smoke.

Yeah, I know why they build them but think it’s a rip-off to taxpayers, since in this case the road pre-dated the houses along it. Also, it makes the drive unfriendly to drivers since they can’t see the community. I do hate walls!

The walls are noise walls built and maintained by the FDOT to give the occupants along the highway a quieter lifestyle. The clouds do look pretty in that photo BTW!

On our visit to Florida this past winter, we went to the Stephen
Foster Museum for a side trip, and needed to find a place to eat lunch.
Someone recommended Fat Belly’s, and believe me, was that a find!!!!!
Since it was a Friday during Lent, we were not going to eat meat, and,
Boy !!!!, did those ribs look good, but we chose the breaded shrimp, and
we split the order as there were 20 in the basket!!
Oh My!!, I can’t tell you how delicious those shrimp were. The
breading was so fine, you immediately sank your teeth into the most
delectible, sweet shrimp we had ever eaten.
We will surely stop and eat at Fat Belly’s on our next trip next
winter.

I’m glad to hear about your novel coming along. I, too, have been so helped by Connie’s critique. She set me on the right path at a critical point. My novel is now finished and out there being rejected by agents.
